Happy 1st Birthday Griffin

This past weekend we celebrated Griffin's 1st Birthday!  I can't believe an entire year has gone by since he was born.  It seems like before we know it Blake will be celebrating his first birthday.  We had a great time spending the day with family and sharing in this special occasion.

Ready for Work

I took Blake to visit Jake at work last week.  Seeing as it was nap time he was not that well behaved, but he sure did look cute!  All of the women in the office came running when they heard the crying baby.  Here are some pictures before we left the house...mommy's handsome little man.

On another note this is my last week of maternity leave and mommy is NOT ready to go back to work.  Even though I don't have to "go" anywhere {since I work from home} I have really enjoyed being a stay at home mom and spending all of my time with Blake.  

2 months old

My how you have grown.  We can't believe how big you are and how fast you are growing.

• You are still doing GREAT with your sleeping at night.  The longest you have gone between feedings is 11 1/2 hrs!  You usually average between 9-11 hrs. 
• Still packing on the pounds ~ at your 2 month checkup {January 31st} the doctor's office had your weight at 10lbs 13oz {29th percentile}, but when weighing you at home you weighed 12lbs 15oz...a 2 pound difference!  We think the weight at home is closer to your actual weight.  You were 23 inches long at you 2 month checkup.                                           Weight on February 8th {10 weeks} 13lbs 7.5oz
• You love trying to shove your entire fist into your mouth.  So far you have found your thumb a couple of times, but you are not a thumb sucker yet.  I have a feeling you may be soon enough {just like your momma}
• You are a happy baby.  Smiling and cooing a lot.  You make noises that sounds like you are saying "hi" and "hey", so of course we think you are going to be a great talker {like your cousin Brady}
